The recent launching of the Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre (MTCC) in the Pacific (MTCC-Pacific is a boost for the Pacific region.
The MTCC Centre of Excellence was launched in Suva last week. The Pacific centre is part of a global network, joining centres in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America to develop and promote low-carbon maritime transport systems in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The MTCC-Pacific is hosted by the Pacific Community (SPC) in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). Read more…
