NADI, FIJI – Radisson Blu Resort Fiji has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the local community with the completion of significant renovations at the Nadi Hospital Women’s Ward. The upgraded facilities, which include the refurbishment of the women’s washrooms, were officially opened on December 10 by Radisson Blu’s Hotel Manager, Peter Ehrenbrandtner, and Responsible Business Manager, Satya.

The project, valued at $15,000, reflects the resort’s dedication to its Responsible Business initiative, aiming to uplift healthcare services for women and families in Nadi. Beyond the washroom upgrades, Radisson Blu Resort also provided 21 beds to further improve patient comfort at the hospital.

Mohammed Israr Khan, Chairman of the Nadi Hospital Board of Visitors Trust, expressed gratitude for the impact of the project, stating, “The Renovation of the Women’s Washrooms represents more than just an infrastructure upgrade. It symbolizes hope, compassion, and support for the 20,000 patients served by this facility.”

Radisson Blu Resort’s Hotel Manager, Peter Ehrenbrandtner, emphasized the resort’s commitment to giving back to the community. “This project holds a special place in our hearts. Through initiatives like this, we hope to create meaningful change for those who need it most,” he said.

The renovation is part of Radisson Blu Resort’s ongoing Community Outreach Programme, which includes projects such as the ‘Adopt a School’ initiative. The resort continues to champion causes that contribute to building better futures for Fiji’s communities.
