DENARAU, FIJI, 31 August 2026 – Radisson Blu Resort Fiji has reopened its Chantara Thai Restaurant and Japanese Teppanyaki Grill following a renovation of both dining outlets, adding to the range of dining options open to the public on Denarau Island.
Both restaurants reopened on 10 August 2026 after works to the interiors and dining spaces, which sit alongside the resort’s waterfall feature. The renovation forms part of an ownership-funded investment in the property, alongside an updated menu built around Thai and Japanese cuisine under Executive Chef Abbass Fawaz.
The reopening adds two more options to Denarau’s dining scene at a time when the island’s resorts increasingly draw both resort guests and local residents to eat on property, rather than being restricted to hotel guests only. Teppanyaki in particular is positioned to also serve private celebrations and corporate events, widening the venue’s use beyond regular dining.
Radisson Blu Resort Fiji General Manager Charles Homsy said the reopening reflected continued investment in the property.
“Our owners have made a substantial investment in transforming our dining outlets, reflecting our commitment to continually enhancing the guest experience,” Mr Homsy said. “From the redesigned interiors at Chantara to the refreshed Teppanyaki experience, our teams are looking forward to sharing these spaces with guests again.”
Chantara Thai Restaurant and Teppanyaki are open to resort guests and the public for lunch and dinner.
