Qantas announced (07-May-2019) Boeing 787-9 equipment will operate Sydney-San Francisco service, replacing Boeing 747, effective 04-Dec-2019.
The introduction of the aircraft is facilitated by the second phase of 787-9 deliveries, with six aircraft being delivered from Oct-2019.
Boeing 747 aircraft will be retired from Qantas’ international network by the end of 2020.
