Qantas applies for capacity between Australia and Fiji, plans to deploy Boeing 737 equipment

Qantas submitted (27-Nov-2018) an application to Australia‘s International Air Services Commission (IASC) for capacity between Australia and Fiji. The carrier stated it plans to deploy Boeing737 equipment between Australia and Fiji from 31-Mar-2019, and requested an allocation of 696 seats per week. The carrier plans to fully utilise the capacity by 26-Oct-2019. In addition, Qantas requested the IASC grant it the ability for another Australian carrier which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qantas, such as Jetstar Airways, to utilise capacity on the route.
