Putting a lid on dengue

Fiji Times Thursday 02 March The revelation that 88 of the 143 dengue cases recorded this year are from the Western Division will raise some interest.

It, however, takes away nothing from the need for us to be vigilant and proactive. The Health and Medical Services Ministry confirmed the figures.

It has strongly urged members of the public “to act immediately to destroy dengue mosquito breeding places as removing dengue mosquito breeding places will ultimately lead to a decrease in the number of dengue positive cases”.  Read more…
