Province in qoliqoli talks

The Fiji Times, 03 January 2018 – TALKS have started in villages in Macuata Province on plans to preserve their qoliqoli.

Tui Macuata Ratu Wiliame Katonivere said villagers had already established Marine Protected Areas in their respective qoliqoli boundaries.

“But we are encouraging them to have more MPA areas to preserve their qoliqoli and to ensure that there is consistent supply for their people,” he said. Read more…
