Fiji Times Saturday 08 July 2017 THE private sector was challenged to think outside the box and go beyond their comfort zones to ensure sustainable development and protection of the environment.
Speaking at the launch of the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards 2017 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva last night, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya said the private sector played an important role in sustainable development.
Mr Koya said the theme for this year’s awards “achieving sustainable economic growth”, strongly reflected on the leadership role that the Fijian Government had taken up on the global stage with regards to climate change and its impact on the livelihoods of all Fijians. Read more…
