Fiji Sun, Wed 14 Feb – There are plans for a cruise vessel for the Northern Division to be berthed at the Grand Eastern Hotel jetty in Labasa.
Business Owner, Charan Jeath Singh based in New Zealand is currently in talks with companies in Dubai, Australia and New Zealand to purchase a tourist vessel that can carry 50 passengers.
Mr Singh says, “There is no such cruise or service in the North for either locals or tourists to see the outer islands of Vanua Levu, hence, I thought of providing that service and give our visitors from abroad the opportunity to explore the outer islands in the Northern Division”.
The new cruise vessel is planned to visit the three islands of Vorovoro, Mali and Kia in a day tour.
