Fiji Times Friday 29 September 2017 NADI will be declared a city in December, says Minister for Local Government Parveen Kumar.
“Some people think that it’s not going to happen,” he said.
“But it’s going to happen in the month of December, that we are going to declare Nadi as the third city in this country.”
He said Government was committed to undergoing the processes needed to declare Nadi a city.
Nadi Town Council special administrator Robin Ali said the declaration would mean the extension of the town’s boundary.
