As the date for the 40th Anniversary of the annual Fiji Regatta Week approaches, enthusiasts and participants worldwide are gearing up for a spectacular event.
Scheduled from 11th to 15th September 2024, this milestone anniversary promises to be a commemoration of past Regatta highlights while showcasing the excitement of four decades of maritime tradition.
Last year’s Regatta witnessed a phenomenal global turnout, with yachts and support crews from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and the United Kingdom converging in Fiji.
Over 350 yachties and enthusiasts participated, highlighting the international appeal and prestige of this longstanding sporting tourism event in Fiji.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion,” remarks Musket Cove Resort’s Manager, Joe Mar, inviting both sailors and land-based revellers to join in the festivities.
This year’s agenda promises a packed schedule of events and entertainment for competitors, families, and friends alike, ensuring a vibrant and engaging experience for all.
The highlight of this year’s Regatta is the Friday night party, themed “Party Like It’s 1982,” promising a nostalgic and lively atmosphere for attendees.
