The Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF) has issued a total of 7567 seafarer’s certificates, approximately 585 of these are plying their trade internationally and the rest on Fiji ships on domestic voyage.
This is part of Government’s vested interest in investing into maritime training for local and regional seafarers who attend seafaring course at the Fiji Maritime Academy (FMA).
