Fiji Sun Thursday 06 July 2017 South Sea Cruises has stepped up their services after acquiring the latest in modern navigational and operational equipment with their latest catamaran, Tiger V.
Tiger V replaces Tiger IV which has been with the company for over a decade.
Tiger IV has carried well over a million passengers according to South Sea Cruises chief executive officer Brad Rutherford.
Tiger V can carry over 200 passengers for each trip.
It is structured out of aluminium and powered by twin Yamaha with 690 kilowatts power.
The built-in 24 meter high speed catamaran is an investment of $6.5 million.
During the traditional welcome ceremony yesterday Mr Rutherford said, “It has been a year in the planning it’s part of our fleet modernisation project so we have got two new vessels coming in this year.” Read more…
