Fiji Sun Wednesday 06 September 2017 In a bid to improve their productivity and deliver timely service, the Walu Bay-based slipway, Marine Industrial Structural Engineering Limited (MISEL) has plans to update equipment and machinery in their workshop soon.
MISEL is now into their 20th year of services and has so far eliminated challenges it faced over the years.
Company representative Kenneth Taliu said that they have managed to eliminate the shortage of materials issue needed to work on visiting vessels.
“To save the hassle on the lack of materials that we faced in the past, we liaise with ship owners to provide the materials beforehand or order them so that when they arrive, the materials are available to start work,” Mr Taliu said.
He said they have also managed to provide better and timely services that pleases vessel owners. Read more…
