“At Marriott International, one of our core values and part of our culture is putting people first. During these challenging and unprecedented times, the wellbeing of our associates is of the most outmost importance to us and this has led to us form the ‘Solia Lesu’ by Marriott International Fiji foundation which translates to ‘giving back’ ” commented Neeraj Chadha, Multi Property Vice President, Fiji & Samoa – Marriott International and General Manager – Sheraton & Westin Resorts, Fiji.

“Our objective is to provide associates and their communities with 100 meals per day starting with 3 villages. Initial funding will come from donations by the Senior Leadership team and as we progress, we will continue to raise funds by extending our reach to our business partners, family and friends of Fiji for donations, one of which is through our Facebook Page- “SOLIA LESU”. This initiative also encompasses the “Nurture” pillar of Marriott Serve 360 to create better places to live, work and visit.
