Fiji Times Thursday 19 October 2017 FRANCIS Lee cuts a compelling profile as he fleeted across the lobby of Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa on Yanuca Island, Sigatoka.
His face framed by a Bruce Lee styled haircut, he moved with an age-defying athleticism. Fast and fluid, he disappeared just as quickly as he appeared.
The energy exuberated set the pace for the interview that was about to take place. He later shared he was almost 60 years old, but I had no doubt he could easily pull off the Kung Fu star’s legendary kicks and punches.
Physique aside, nimble Mr Lee has a larger than life personality.
When he assumed the position of resort general manager in January this year, he immediately waded into the hard issues, determined to give the property — which celebrates its 50th anniversary this weekend — a long overdue “shake up”. Read more…
