A DELEGATION of Chinese investors is in the country to look at the various investment and potential venture in real estate and tourism businesses.
A statement from Investment Fiji yesterday said key interests from the delegation included finding out more on the various progrowth incentives provided by the Government and bilateral trade between Hong Kong and mainland China with Fiji.
Investment Fiji chief executive officer Godo Mueller-Teut said from 2011 to 2016, 461 investment projects were registered by Chinese citizens or companies.
Mr Mueller-Teut said investment trend remained steady with the number of projects registered annually increasing from 25 in 2011 to 172 in 2016. Read more…
