Fiji Sun Wednesday 06 September 2017 Innovation should be an integral part of any business plan. This sentiment was echoed by the Chief Executive Officer of Investment Fiji, Godo Mueller- Teut.
Given Fiji’s distance location from the major trading hubs of the world, Fijian businesses have to adapt inventive ways of doing businesses. Mr. Mueller- Teut says there is no doubt Fiji produces some of the unique and authentic products and services in the world.
“Innovation in any business brings dynamism in their products and service. With fierce competition in the market, Fijian businesses have to think outside the box to create unique products and services. Innovation is all about creating a product or a service that is distinctive from the rest and is of premium quality,” Mr. Mueller- Teut said.
One of the ways Investment Fiji has been trying to encourage innovation in the country is through the Prime Minister’s International Business Awards.
