2 October 2025, Natadola, Fiji – FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels have wrapped up a successful Giving for Good Month 2025, raising a total of FJ$60,000 and delivering meaningful support to communities across Fiji.
From the fairways of Natadola Bay to coffee counters in Suva, colleagues and guests came together in a series of activities that united hotels, partners, and local communities. Highlights included:
- Giving for Good Charity Golf Day at Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course, raising FJ$40,000 to support Sigatoka Hospital
- Carpark Café fundraiser at Grand Pacific Hotel, raising FJ$10,000 for Sigatoka Hospital improvements
- Cup of Kindness Coffee Days, generating FJ$2,500 per event for organisations such as Chevalier Hostel, St Christopher’s Home, Sigatoka School for Special Education, and Moana Saint Clare Boys’ Home
- World Heart Day, with Fiji’s landmark hotels glowing red to raise awareness for cardiovascular health
- 11th Annual Fiji Girls Surf Clinic at Natadola Bay, providing lunches and venue support to local women and girls
- Frank Hilton Organization’s Bara Battle (Amazing Wheelbarrow Race), bringing colleagues together to support children with disabilities
- Food Pack Distribution, delivering 420 packs over seven days to families in Nadi and Suva
“Giving for Good is more than a campaign. It reminds us that even small acts of generosity can change lives,” said Lachlan Walker, Regional General Manager, Fiji & Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “Whether through a cup of coffee or a day on the golf course, the generosity of our teams and guests shows that hospitality in Fiji is about heart as much as service.”
Walker added: “The FJ$50,000 we raised for Sigatoka Hospital represents a real investment in a facility relied upon by our communities. We will work closely with the hospital to deliver repairs and improvements in the areas they need most.”
