Nadi, Fiji – 03 November 2025 – Hilton properties in Fiji, Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji, Sonaisali Island, proudly hosted its annual Career’s Fair on Friday, 31 October 2025, welcoming over 350 students from tertiary institutions – welcomed students, job seekers, and esteemed guests – an event designed to introduce young Fijians to the dynamic and rewarding world of hospitality.
The event hosted at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa grounds was graced by Guest Speaker Dr. Eci Naisele, Director of the Higher Education Commission Fiji, who delivered the opening address alongside the resort’s Cluster General Manager. In his remarks, Dr. Naisele highlighted the importance of industry partnerships in shaping Fiji’s next generation of talent, raised awareness on career opportunities in the Hotel & Tourism industries and encouraged students to pursue meaningful careers that contribute to the country’s economic and their personal growth.
Participating students came from Fiji National University (Nadi, Labasa & Nasese Campuses), Pacific Polytech, and eight secondary schools including Korovuto College, Ratu Navula College, Ba Methodist High School, Tavua College, Magodro Secondary, Nakauvadra High School, Swami Vivekananda College, and Navosa Central College. The fair brought together 14 participating organisations representing various industries, including: Spa Academy, Universal Academy of Beauty, Australia Pacific Management & Training (APMT), The University of Fiji (UniFiji), ServicePro, Pacific PolyTech, Vou Dance Group, Pacific Flying School, Fiji Airports, University of the South Pacific (USP), Fiji Police Force (Drug Awareness Unit), Land Transport Authority (LTA), Unit Trust of Fiji (UTOF), and Fiji Holdings Unit Trust (FHUT).
The event gave students a first-hand look into the many roles that make a world-class resort operate seamlessly. Hilton team members from departments such as Front Office, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Spa & Recreation, Engineering, Finance, and Business Development showcased their daily work, shared their career journeys, and engaged in one-on-one conversations with attendees.

The event concluded with interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and an engaging showcase of Hilton’s global career pathways, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to growth, development, and community connection.
