GLOBAL CHEFS CHALLENGE PACIFIC RIM SEMI FINALS
Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay congratulates Chef Ravinesh Prasad
17 July 2019 – Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay Chef, Ravinesh Prasad was awarded the Silver Medal, Global Young Chef by the Culinary Committee of World Association of Chefs Society at the Global Chefs Challenge Pacific Rim Semi Finals in Melbourne.
Competing against a competitive field of entrants hailing from across Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands, Ravinesh battled against seasoned chefs who regularly compete internationally.
The significance of this honour is framed by the strict judging criteria set by the Culinary Committee of World Association of Chefs Society. World Chefs certified judges critique entrants on skill, expertise and technique demanding a high level of talent and precision.
In addition he also took out the Bronze Medal at the Battle of the Pacific Restaurant Challenge and was supported by Team Fiji with two additional Fijian Chefs taking home medals ensuring an opportunity to compete in the Global Chefs Challenge Finals during the World Chefs Congress in St Petersburg, Russia in 2020.

He performed very well and gave all entrants in his category a run for their money.
