Fiji Sun, 21 August 2019 – Goundar Shipping Limited (GSL) will be sending their staff to Australia to undergo high-speed ferries training next year.
GSL managing director George Goundar while confirming this yesterday said this was in preparation for the ferries service he hopes to take up soon in the Central division.
Mr Goundar’s ferry services will ease traffic currently faced in the Nausori-Suva and Lami-Suva corridor.
Travelling between Nausori and Suva and also between Suva and Navua now is time-consuming with the number of vehicles on the road and the works on the Tamavua-i-wai bridge before Delainavesi.…read more
