Fuel shortage to affect flight schedules to Tuvalu

Fiji Times Saturday 30 September 2017  FIJI Airways services to and from Auckland returned to normal scheduled operations after the jet fuel issues affecting its Auckland flights was rectified with aviation fuel supply restored as of Thursday afternoon.

A statement from the national airline said they would like to thank passengers for their co-operation and understanding over the past few weeks while it was dealing with the fuel shortage issue.

Meanwhile the airline advised their Fiji Airways passengers travelling to Funafuti, Tuvalu of the possible disruptions to their flight, including passenger denied boarding and baggage offloads, as a result of the unavailability of fuel supply on the island.
