NZ Herald, Tues 27 Feb: A travel agent is warning of possible disruption for Europe-bound Kiwis from a monster Siberian storm dubbed the ”Beast from the East.”
Flight Centre is closely monitoring the storm which is hitting parts of Europe and is expected to bring snow and freezing temperatures to Britain during the next few days.
British Airways (BA) has already cancelled a number of services. Hundreds of flights have been cancelled because of the severe weather.
”It is important customers do not assume all flights will be impacted. Kiwis due to travel in the next day or two should contact their carrier to confirm,” said Sue Matson, Flight Centre NZ general manager retail.Read in NZHerald
