Denarau, Nadi 18 September 2020 – Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay associates hosted a Bake Sale on 8th of September to fundraise to purchase stationery items for Stationary Drive on the 17th September, 2020
The resort continues to proactively support schools nearby Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay. Associates of the resort held a mini bake sale with goods such as cupcakes, brownies, lamingtons and pies brought from home and fundraised a total of $50 to purchase various stationery items. These include colouring pencils, crayons, activities booklets, pens, pencils, eraser and other smaller items in help school children with classroom activities
Representing the resort, family members of General Manager, Silvano Dressino pays visits to three schools: Wai District School from Lomaiwai Village, Savusavu Primary School & Namata Primary School, all are within the close by communities at Momi Bay. School’s Headmasters receives donations, expressing positive motivation the small gesture has on the children and families. As a part of the Solia Lesu program in supporting communities, the resort and its associates hope to create joy within classrooms in supporting the children’s learning and activities.
With the festive season to approach, the resort also plans to create classroom activities and mini competitions together with respective school teachers
