Tuesday, 26 February 2019 – The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association has been working with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health on the replacement of the Hyperbaric Chamber at the CWM Hospital in Suva.
We can now confirm that the shipment of the new chamber is expected to be in Fiji by 23rd March 2019 with commissioning and training expected to take place soon after.
At this stage, we understand that the chamber should be operational by the first week of April 2019 and await the official confirmation of this date.
The Association will send out an update on the chambers’ commissioning by the 29th of March if not earlier.
