The Fiji Times, 25 June 2018 – A FEASIBILITY study is being carried out by the European Investment Bank to look into the possible establishment of two hydro power plants in Ba and upper Wailoa in Naitasiri.
Energy Fiji Ltd chief executive officer Hasmukh Patel said this was one of a few renewable energy projects that the energy company was involved in.
“We are carrying out feasibility studies on two locations where we are reinforcing the potential for hydro power plants,” he said.
“The European Investment Bank, through a grant, is carrying out the feasibility study and these two areas are basically the Qaliwana Upper Wailoa Diversion Project and the other one is basically lower Ba. Read more…
