Fiji Sun, 31 October 2017 – The Fiji Electricity Authority has advised members of the public to be vigilant within the vicinity of power lines after a two-hour power outage in Nadi yesterday.
Chief Executive Officer Hasmukh Patel gave the word of caution after the unplanned outage in Nadi which caused power disruption to people from around the Namaka area to Narewa Village.
“The FEA requests members of the public to work safely in the vicinity of power lines to prevent accidents of this nature from occurring,” he said. Read more…
