Fijivillage, 28 November 2017 – The Fiji Electricity Authority will be carrying out a major exercise called the Monasavu Hydro-scheme half-life refurbishment programme this weekend.
The exercise will commence at 10pm on Friday and will run until Monday night.
FEA CEO Hasmukh Patel says that the Monasavu Hydro-scheme has been in operation for 34 years and is leaking very badly, thus there is a need to replace it for efficiency purposes. Read more…
