Provisional Visitor Arrivals from the Fiji Bureau of Statistics (FBoS) show that visitor arrivals for April 2018 totalled 63,535, a decrease of 7.2% compared to a year earlier. Flights to and from Fiji were cancelled for 3 and a half days in April due to Tropical Cyclones Josie and Keni.
There were increases in the number of visitors from;

- Rest of Asia
Other decreases were recorded from;
- Australia
- Continental Europe
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- China
- New Zealand
- Japan
- Pacific Islands
