Fiji Times, Thurs Jan 18 – EXPECT hot and humid conditions to prevail in the coming days, says Fiji Meteorological Service director Ravind Kumar. Mr Kumar said the heavy rain alert in force for Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, northern Lau and Lomaiviti Group was cancelled. The flood alert in force for all low-lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to major rivers for Viti Levu was now cancelled as well. Read more
