Speaking at a climate change disaster resilient education program yesterday, Chapter president and Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort general manager Peter Hopgood said the range and depth of programs they were involved in was testament to their commitment.
“Only this week we joined with Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya to showcase the work that we undertake in our coral planting, establishment of clam farms and the propagating of mangroves,” he said.
“We have also been active in spreading the message on rubbish in the environment with our ‘No Plastic — That’s Fantastic’ campaign.
“In the coming weeks the general managers and their staff will distribute over 15,000 reusable shopping totes to all of the schools and kindergartens in the provinces of Nadroga-Navosa.” Read more…
