Fiji Times Monday 31 July 2017 THE Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation held its first post-budget combined council meeting with Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum at the Tanoa Plaza Hotel in Suva last Friday.
With more than 500 companies associated with the federation, the forum provided a platform for members present to discuss and clarify issues regarding the budget.
Federation president Himen Chandra said the overall budget was a positive one with members having questions to be raised at the forum.
“These issues were raised and answered by the A-G and clarifications were made. It was a positive outcome and I think we should have this kind of forum more often,” Mr Chandra said. Read more…
