Fiji Times Saturday 10 June 2017 INFORMATION sharing is a way to move forward in terms of tax compliance, says Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA) chief executive officer Visvanath Das.
Mr Das made the comment after signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Pacific Islands Tax Administrators Association (PITAA) on Wednesday to exchange vital information and resources to improve tax compliance.
The MOU will enable both organisations to share information and resources to deal with taxation issues not only in the country, but at a regional level as well.
It also seeks to improve the co-ordination of data and information sharing and will contribute to strengthening the efficient and timely access of information. Read more…
