The Fiji Times, 03 January 2018 – GOVERNMENT’S commitment to protecting Fiji’s reef system has led to the trade ban of live coral, says Fisheries Minister Semi Koroilavesau.
The ban, which came into effect last Thursday, has stirred concerns among local exporters.
But Mr Koroilavesau said the ban was part of Government’s commitment to the Ocean Conference held in New York and the 23rd United Nations Conference of Parties meeting in Bonn, Germany, last year. Read more…
