Fiji Sun, 02 June 2017 – Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama leaves the country today to co-preside over the United Nations Ocean Conference which will be held in New York.
Mr Bainimarama is also leading the Fijian delegation which comprises a mixture of civil society organisations, private sector and Government delegates attending the week-long conference.
The United Nations will bring together heads of states, heads of governments and other high-level delegates, representatives from civil society organisations, the business community, intergovernmental and UN agencies as well as renowned personalities, and other ocean and marine life advocates at the Ocean Conference.
