THERE is a need for the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FRCA) to view its operations from a commercial or cost and benefit approach.
This recommendation was part of the submissions made by the Fiji Institute of Accountants to the Ministry of Economy on the 2017/2018 National Budget.
The accounting institute stated that certain inefficiencies in FRCA’s business and IT processes including time spent by staff in resolving matters were all costs to business. Read more…
