The Fiji Times, 20 June 2017 – WHILE the circular economy concept has been in Europe for many years, it is not widely understood and embraced by many businesses, says the chief executive officer of the South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO), Chris Cocker.
“And it remains a challenge today to change the mind-set of businesses to adopt a circular mind-set,” he said.
Mr Cocker made the comments after he recently returned from a World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in Helsinki, Finland, inspired with the possibilities of what this could bring to the tourism sector in the Pacific region. Read more…
