Fiji Sun Monday 14 August 2017 Organisers of the Chef’s Table are looking forward to their fundraising gala dinner at the Rhum-Ba at Port Denarau on October 3.
Chef’s Table founder and Rhum-Ba executive chef Darren Braddock said: “The Chef’s Table is where the Fijian spirit and generosity come together within the hospitality industry; a huge and important community in the Fijian business sector.
“Let’s show what it is to be Fijian and the Mai Kana spirit of community.”
The seven events organised by Chef’s Table so far raised over $100,000 with many generous people volunteering their time, skills, produce and funds. This has been used for relief work in two cyclones, cyclone Pam in Vanuatu in 2015 and cyclone Winston last year.
“The generosity of patrons, sponsors and the hard working people who bring this event together still even now surprises me how much people in Fiji give to a good cause,” Mr Braddock said. Read more…
