And like many developing countries in the Pacific, Fiji relies heavily on its natural environment to attract travellers from across the globe.
Apart from these natural resources, human resource is one of the most important areas for the tourism sector in Fiji. Thus, it falls on to education providers to equip aspiring industry workers with the best set of skills before they join the workforce.
In line with this goal the University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Pacific Technical And Further Education (Pacific TAFE) has opened a $1.3 million tourism and hospitality training centre in Nadi. Read more…
