Australia‘s Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Economics (BITRE) reported (03-Feb-2019) the following international traffic highlights to/from Australia for Nov-2018:

• Passengers: 3.3 million, +4.1% year-on-year;
• Available seats: 4.4 million, +4.2%;
• Cargo: 107,183 tonnes, -0.3%;
• Flights: 16,717, +4.3%;
• Aircraft movements: 17,167, +5.2%;
• Top 10 international carriers:
  • Share of passengers carried:
    • Qantas: 17.7%, +0.8ppt;
    • Jetstar: 9.0%, +0.1ppt;
    • Singapore Airlines: 8.2%, +0.1ppt;
    • Air New Zealand: 7.4%, +0.4ppt;
    • Emirates: 6.8%, -1.1ppts;
    • Virgin Australia: 6.4%, +0.3ppt;
    • Cathay Pacific Airways: 4.6%, stable;
    • China Southern Airlines: 3.3%, +0.3ppt;
    • AirAsia X: 2.9%, -0.6ppt;
    • Malaysia Airlines: 2.5%, +0.4ppt;
