Fiji Times, 01 February – AUSTRALIA intends to bring negotiations on the Pacific Agreement for Closer Economic Relations (PACER) Plus to a closure in 2017.
Australia’s Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Keith Pitt, who met Fiji’s Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya, says they had made their position very clear.
The trade agreement negotiations were launched at a Pacific Islands Forum Leaders meet in 2009 and is its eighth year of negotiations. Read more…
