Fiji Times Monday 16 October 2017 ART lovers are set to get a treat from an exhibition featuring two of the country’s high profile contemporary artists.
Entitled Born from Fire, the exhibition is said to be the first of its kind and will feature art collaboration from Shane Bower and Alice Hill who have been working together to create unique sculptural works that reflect and celebrate the beauty of the country.
The exhibition will start on October 19 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
A statement from Hot Glass said after the initial artists private view and opening, the exhibition will be open to the public from October 19th for 10 days encompassing two weekends.
It said the exhibition was free to visit and there would also be a number of guided tours of the exhibition explaining the materials, method and inspiration behind the work. Read more…
