New Zealand Herald, 05 July 2018 – Air New Zealand has slammed the “ravages of airport pricing behaviour” in New Zealand in support of changes to the Commerce Act it says would help curb airport owners’ charging and cut air travel costs for passengers.
At the transport and infrastructure select committee today, the airline’s head of government and industry affairs Duncan Small said the changes proposed won’t solve the problem of excessive pricing behaviour by airports, “but do go some distance towards creating a credible threat that regulators may act if excessive pricing behaviour continues.” Read more…
