Tickets now on SALE for Tourism’s Premier Event
Tickets are now on sale for what has been dubbed the premier annual awards night, where winners of the 2019 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards will be recognised for their hard work and achievements over the past year. The event will be held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Saturday 14th March.
“The theme for this year is ‘Celebrating Excellence in our People and Product’, which is appropriate given the excellent work that is done by the Tourism Industry in Fiji,” said Mr Bill Whiting Chair of Board of Trustees of the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.
“Each year we celebrate the excellence of our people and product. Excellence in Tourism continues to evolve with the expectations of our growing tourist arrivals. Our guests want the best service, excellence in our people and product enables our guests to have a memorable guest experience when on holiday in Fiji.”
The main event of the evening will be the presentations to the winners of the 2019 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards. The event is a perfect opportunity to meet and network with key industry figures and friends.
“Guests will also experience a three course dinner prepared by the 2017 Emerging Tourism Award Winner, Chef Abhinesh Sharma of Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa,” said Ms Olivia Mavoa who is Chair of the FETA Organising Committee.
“When we host the awards night on March 14th it will be the first event at the newly refurbished Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa’s grand ballroom which is undergoing a major facelift. We have received numerous queries from the industry about ticket sales even before tickets went on sale. There is a lot of interest for this year’s event so don’t be disappointed and buy your tickets early.”

ANZ FETA is recognised as a mark of excellence and promotes excellence in Fiji’s tourism industry. ANZ FETA is an annual event run by a voluntary committee of industry members, overseen by the board of trustees.
15 awards will be given out to recognise excellence in tourism including the Visionary and Lifetime Achievement awards.
