TWO drought-prone areas in the Western Division have been identified by Pacific Community (SPC) where hydro-geological assessments will be carried out.
According to SPC, geophysical electrical resistivity equipment were used to detect sources of fresh underground water in a survey carried out in Malele, Tavua, and Volivoli in Rakiraki.
The assessments were made possible under the framework of the European Union funded Micro Projects Programme (MPP) implemented by SPC. Read more…
