The Minister for Health, Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete has clarified in parliament today that the capacity of the Nadi Hospital is adequate in meeting the expectations of both tourists and locals.
Waqainabete highlighted this when questioned by SODELPA MP, Viliame Gavoka to clarify whether the capacity of the Nadi Hospital is adequate for both tourists and locals.
When further questioned by SODELPA MP, Adi Litia Qionibaravi if certain changes have been done to address the recent mysterious death of the two tourists in Nadi, Waqainabete says they have the necessary equipment in the Nadi hospital to be able to look after tourists but they need to be alerted early of the type of sickness.
