MARKET vendors in Savusavu have the ability to promote the hidden paradise town in the tourism market.
The Savusavu Town special administrator Vijay Chand said the local products sold by vendors spoke a lot about the Fijian way of life.
“People take this issue for granted but our market vendors have the best local products to promote our food and culture to tourists,” Mr Chand said.
“The young coconuts for example, or bu is a popular product that tourists know. But the vendors could also provide grass straws for tourists to drink the juice with. This will make a difference to their products. Read more…
