Sustainable tourism may be a new phrase to some, just like climate change a few years ago.
So what is sustainable tourism?
United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) defines it as: “Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.”
