FIJI’s tourism industry is undoubtedly a major driver of our economy being the single largest foreign exchange earner.
While the lucrative industry has driven the Fijian economy to greater heights over the past years, it has also seen a rapid and strong growth.
The industry is also linked to a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that Fiji is committed to achieving in a bid to further boost economic developments.
It is also linked to SDG 1 which is to end poverty in all its forms and also SDG 8 which is to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. Read more…
